The Mini and Youth Section was founded in 1984 by some intrepid players and parents, many of whom are still associated with your Club. The Mini and Youth Section at Old Richians exists to make the game available to youngsters in the area. The aim is to make rugby fun, make the game available to all – regardless of ability – and promote the Rugby Union ethos.
We run sides from Under 7 to Colts and there are over 220 children in the M&Y section. This makes us one of the largest team sports club in the local area – for any sport! Many of our players go on to play for the senior Old Richians Club and some have gone on to County and Regional honours.
